I get the same 24 hour clock each day as everybody else, but, I’ve been successful at achieving more results in a shorter time period than most could imagine. Business goals that have taken others some 3+ years to accomplish, I’ve achieved in less than 30 days.
Relationships with my family that have seemed beyond repair by many, I was able to rebuild and make them stronger than ever. My body which was overweight for a long time is now physically fit. My bank account which once balanced negative is now positive and debt free.
The challenges above were across my Core4:
- Business
- Balance
- Body
- Bank Account
I liken this to driving a vehicle but only on 1, 2, 3 or 4 wheels.
If you’re missing one or more wheels you’re driving out of balance and that causes a crash. But, when you have all 4 wheels under you, it allows for acceleration. You now have the choice of how fast you want to go.
The moral of this analogy is simply that when you take ownership of your life and hit the Core4 before you’re out the door in the morning, then you’re going to have a lot more time in your day to produce and create. That production can be across business, balance, body or even your bank account.
Now, every high level producer I’ve ever met gets up in the AM and has a routine.
For me personally, I know that if I wake up and work out, then slow down to reflect and visualize my day, spend time with my son and wife before I leave for the office, then once I leave the house I’ve got the next 8 hours to crush it in business.
That leaves me the rest of the evening to invest into my family. And I can do all this while maintaining balance and achieving results across the Core4.
By waking up early and being faithful to a routine, I’m able to operate from a place of power, clarity and certainty. This results in collapsing time and producing results while the rest of the world sleeps.
A critical component to collapsing time is that I spend 1 hour on Sunday planning my week, which results in countless hours saved throughout the week. My best guess is that one minute of planning saves 15 minutes of suffering.
The application of this message is for you to map out a blueprint of what you want your goals to be, design a plan for how you will achieve them. Visualize the outcomes, and take action to do them consistently. Inspired action is the greatest multiplier of production.
You create the results that you have currently in your life. The results you have now are what you committed to creating. So if you want to have more time in your day, find the balance across your Core4 and plan to win followed by execution to win. If you fail to plan, then you plan to fail.
